Vedika Kochhar is an art conservator and restorer. She has been restoring artworks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for institutions, galleries, and private collections. She has a Master’s in Art Restoration from Accademia Riaci in Florence, Italy as well as a Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. She also has a Bachelor’s in Economics and International Relations from Boston University, USA. She has participated in research programs with Harvard Laxmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute with a focus on microbial deterioration and pigment analysis. She restores works on canvas, paper, sculptures and frames.

Her focus has been scientific research of materials, scientific analysis of artworks, preventive maintenance of collections and collection management. She is also engaged in educational talks and programs to increase awareness and importance of conservation of cultural heritage.

She has worked with artworks in Florence, Italy, Mumbai, and Delhi in India and now works in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
