Ksenia Flis is a Ukrainian artist living and working in Dubai. Born in Lviv, she studied at the Lviv Academy of Arts. Her professional background spans fashion design, photography, and visual art. She has participated in exhibitions at Dzyga Art Center and ZAG (Zenyk Art Gallery) in Lviv.

Flis’s practice combines abstract painting and relief. Her background in fashion design informs her attention to form, proportion, and the properties of materials, while photography has shaped her approach to composition, light, and shadow. In her work, volume becomes part of the pictorial language: relief establishes the rhythm of the surface, while light reveals its depth and alters the perception of the composition.

Femininity is a central theme in her work, explored through the interaction of form, colour, and texture. Flowing lines and sculptural elements convey sensuality, while contrasting surfaces explore the coexistence of softness and inner strength. Abstraction leaves these expressions open to personal interpretation.

Flis currently continues her artistic practice in Dubai, focusing on relief compositions and the expressive potential of materials. Her current work explores the boundary between the painted surface and sculptural form, developing a distinctive artistic language at the intersection of these two approaches.
